Project Zone

In this first year the project will cover 8 district (Golfe, Avé, Kloto, Haho, Doufelgou, Binah, Kozah and Assoli), covering about 40 cantons. Water is an important problem in these villages, affecting mostly the women and the girls, who are in charge of this duty. The water must be paid at the wells, so that the population is often getting water from the river and ponds.

Implementation Strategy

2AD has already implemented different promotion and prevention campaign for Heath issue like Malaria, HIV/AIDS etc and will use his already existing network in 250 villages to include SODIS in their work.

  • Training: First 2 coordinators and 8 supervisors will be trained on the Sodis technology. Then each supervisor will be responsible to train 10 promotors, who will be responsible for 50 families.
  • Promtion: Street play, presentations and radio will be used to do a wider sensitisation of the population
  • Bottle supply sheme: Contact with mineral compagnies will be made to assure the bottle supply as well as bottle center in each district will be put on place.
